Don't forget he can't get a taxi to the airport either! Oh I getting mixed up with his mentor Dennis Wise
We only just lost to Man city and Spiurs at home, is we play a full strength team we would have to have a very very bad day and them a good day for us not to win! The best chance they have is when we juggle our team around too much and they obviously playing their best 11 happen to nick it therefore it's up to what team the COACH puts out
Agreed, and unlike the 3rd and 4th round, there isn't a league match in the midweek following the cup tie/
If we can get four points from our next three games I suspect that QSF will pick the best team. If we win our next three games, then perhaps not.
Destroyed poor Bonhams career and could have caused serious long term injury to Bondy, showed no remorse. Hope we well and truly stuff the dirty weeds. Need some good chants when we go 3 up and game safe. We won't be on TV, under the radar we stay, dark horses.
What? So if we do better than your first scenario by picking up 9 points instead of 4, therefore virtually ensuring our safety, that makes QSF LESS likely to pick the best team? How have you worked that out?
I was reasonably happy with this draw until I saw on this thread that some on here think we only need to turn up to win. Now I'm getting worried.
We pick up four points and we will finish mid-lower part of the table. We would be unlikely to get relegated so we may as well go for the cup. If we win all of our next three games we will be within striking distance of the UEFA league and we won't risk players in cup games. Seems logical to me, but what do I know?
Stevenage; Dag & Red, Crawley, Fleetwood and Burton off the top of my head for starters, must be quite a few more
You would prioritise the prospect of a place in the UEFA League ahead of the chance of winning the FA Cup?? Seriously?
By my reckoning we have never been drawn against the following current FL clubs in the FA Cup.. Accrington Stanley (current or old club) Blackburn Rovers Bristol Rovers Burton Albion Cambridge United Crawley Town Crewe Alexandra Dagenham & Redbridge (current club) Fleetwood Town Huddersfield Town Leyton Orient Mansfield Town Millwall MK Dons or Afc Wimbledon.. but we have met the old Wimbledon fc (oh.. controversial!) Morecambe Portsmouth Stevenage Yeovil York City NB Some of those i didnt include we have only met in the qualifying rounds.
From existing league clubs: Accrington AFC Wimbledon Blackburn Bristol Rovers Burton Cambridge Crawley Crewe Huddersfield Millwall Portsmouth Stevenage Yeovil York + we played Wimbledon, so technically it counts as having played MK Dons.
Where are those who wanted us to throw the Forest game to concentrate on the league gone? Will they be there after we beat Leeds and get to the Quarter Finals?
Well said, Sir! If anyone has the time they would be providing a valuable public service if they were to go through the previous Forest thread and compile a list of all those lackeys who "couldn't care less" about the cup so they can be named and shamed!
Like I give a sh*t? The cup is valueless as it's been ar*e raped through the years by the money men. The kings new clothes spring to mind.
