When I was looking at the details last night, (when there were 3 guests on), they all seemed to be coming from very similar IP addresses. I'm not sure what it means either???
Sounds like someone trying to hack in. The silverbannana forums over the summer closed down because of that.
I'm not so sure. Clicking on each of the guests last night showed they were browsing the site rather than just sitting on the home page. I've never quite understood the silverbanana thing. If this place got hacked, I've got full backups from every day, (stored remotely), and could probably have it up and running again in a few hours. My theory is that whoever was running it either got bored because they expected to get an instant community, or was caught running a dodgy version of v-bulletin software. I really don't think they got hacked. Remember they offered a season ticket to a prediction results competition winner? I always wondered why they did that so early in the forum's life too. All very odd. Shame really, because it looked like it could have been very good.
If they are similar IP addresses then whats the odds it is staff at WFC.com having a look to see whats going on or being said here?
Maybe they're looking at giving Premium TV the heave ho. Glroyhorns although well established is a bit anti club management. There seems to be a good balanced view here.
