It's fair to say Joka likes having a defender or twenty. He collects them like Colin collects strikers. Blackett has impressed me though whenever I've seen him this season. If he looks comfortable in a Utd shirt he should be more than fine for us.
Do we really need inexperience at the back? I would say we should be looking at a creative midfielder in case we do not make automatic promotion and Abdi doesn't return to full fitness.
Not that strong and prone to defensive lapses. Played as a winger for most of his youth team days. Would much prefer Paddy McNair.
I imagine we probably made this offer before we got Connolly. Perhaps we're now interested again after Ekstrand's injury. Not particularly exciting.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Tommie but if I had a choice between him or Blackett at left back then it'd be the latter. Both inexperienced but one has a left peg and the other one doesn't.
