Shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone as I did say he was being made permanent 3 weeks ago Although looks as though that midfielder we were supposed to sign must have fallen through
I’m not for one moment saying we are still looking to sign anyone… But in previous January windows, a well-placed person has told me that deal-makers for the club have gone home mid-afternoon on deadline day which signalled the fact that nothing was happening, despite blogs etc running late into the night to try keep the anticipation up for clubs etc. In the last hour, I’ve been told the deal-makers are still at the offices and not showing signs of going anywhere for a while.
Ismael can't say he hasn't been backed this window, it's up to him to get us into the playoffs now. Anything less will be a complete failure. In Pozzo we trust.
If there is/was any truth to the Diawara story, I imagine that’s a Gino/Mogi classic. Pretty well known at the club that many of their deals cut out people in the club who are paid to be involved in deals.
Speaking of which, was there ever any truth to the rumours that Martins and Ferreira at Udinese would be made perm?
Good husbandry from the vultures/banks. Thats all that is. Every club does it (except they don’t, just the broke ones)
Maybe when Duxbury kept saying we needed our culture back he meant having **** all money and blindly hoping that some youngsters come through...
We'll buy him in the summer for three times what they paid and that'll be our only signing that's not a free or a loan.
Andrew French reporting staff are still at the training ground - but that's not a hint anything is happening, apparently.
A defensive midfielder that we could have used here given to the Bayat Bros instead. As @Steve Leo Beleck says I wouldn't be shocked at all if we sign him at some point for an inflated fee.
All window we've been crying out for a holding midfielder to support Livermore's work load!! If he gets injured it's season over. Simple. Yet again, our board haven't got a f**king clue what they're doing!!
