Not sure if that is the correct name, but the logos that say that there are new posts in a section.

Don't know if it is just me but they say there is new posts after I have looked at all the new posts and it is not untill I enter the section for a 3rd time does it say no new posts?

Yeah I get that also. Thought it was my browser not refreshing properly. Using a beta of IE7.

This one has some good news and some bad news!

First the good news. There's an option to update thread viewings immediately in the database rather than use a cookie on your pc, (as is currently set). So I've changed that.

Bad News: Every forum will probably show as new posts, and there are now loads of them! Sorry

Not too bad, Will enable me to check if I've missed any important pearls of wisdom.

People can use the forums tools "mark this forum as read" option as a quick clear of the flags.

Before you kill me, click on "quick links" in the menu bar above, select "mark forums read", and voila, sorted! Phew

even easier... look at the far right and it tells you the last post added to a thread... if its older than your lastvisit you know youve seen it so go to the new post icon and dbl click it it will mark that section as read!
