The stars beside some threads

It's a rating system. 5 stars means its a good thread 1 star means it's bad. It's rarely used.

 

It means someone has rated the thread.

The one major flaw in this rating system is the fact that the button to rate threads is right at the top, somewhere people rarely go after reading a thread i imagine. Top, bottom or both is the question, i would go for both.
