is saying we are checking out 3 strikers!!! Nathan Ellington, Cameron Jerome and John Stead!!! Which, if any of them, would like to see at WFC?
All would be decent...Stead was Sheffield United's best striker yesterday and Jerome/Eillington are decent players although the latter has rejected us a number of times. Do we really need another striker just to probably sit on the bench though?
we know we've been knocked back once for definate. Would Aidy really want to go in for Ellington again if he has knocked us back twice already, with one of which earlier in the summer. I doubt it. Cameron Jerome would be quality as would Ellington. We need a bit more pace upfront.
I doubt we'd bring in any of them to sit on the bench - we'll bring in one to partner King or we won't bring in any. Ellington would be my first choice but since he's turned us down on numerous occasions - I don't think it'll be him.
i dont wantanother championship striker. we have loads, i say we wait, and if we get promoted go for the best player on the market, (as long as aidy thnks he's got the right attitude) no striker likely to improre our 1st 11 will join us yet
yup yet more paper talk...todays News of the screws reckons wer'e back in for Collins John ...i do blinkin hope not...
Looks like more papers are picking upon this "paper talk" as the BBC Rumours list it as "various" today.
