Stadium Expansion - Bushey Hall

I have seen the images and they look bloody amazing. Ergo there is absolutlely no way this will ever happen.

Location is just about the only location I would ever tolerate Watford moving to. The only green space that is even vaguely walking distance from the town centre really (not counting Cassiobury Park).

6/10 from me.

Most disappointing, I would have liked to have thought we could be getting a new ground.

To those that want to make out it’s a hoax, then I drew all the pictures myself and deleted other people’s posts to enhance the myth we are getting a new stadium.

To the rest, the photos are genuine and the club are seriously looking to relocate.

You can take whichever option you like.

will never happen in Bushey. Traffic / transport is already a disaster. There's a couple of areas on the periphery of town none of which are connected by train. Based on real estate value alone, the vic will go eventually.

Only reason I asked is I wasn't sure it was you that posted them first.

The fact that a mod is deleting them, the admin is denying everything and now you're getting all upset makes me think it's a load of old horsesh*t anyway.

Gino won't spend more than £50 on a defender. I hardly expect him to spend spend spend on a flashy new ground for us to hate him in.

Relatively easy to build a link to the M1 link Road from the back of Bushey Hall Golf course. Planning of course. But with a large car park with the redevelopment that could be used as a town centre park and ride on non match days might make that new bit of road more palatable to the planners. Also not difficult to run a shuttle bus service from Watford Junction/Bushey stations to the site.

 

Looking at the map, the new site would be no further to walk from the Junction than Vicarage Road. Slightly closer in fact, and a hell of a lot easier to get to from the M1.

 

There's no need to get upset.

 

What will cheer me up is knowing in 5 years from now, we'll all be in our new stadium at Bushey Hall Golf Club and you'll be scratching your head in the Vicarage Road hospital carpark, still in denial, thinking how the hell are well going to score past those bollards.

 

I would love to think I would be in our new stadium in 5 years time ...……. If I'm spared.

I'm still not sure if this is real or an elaborate forum hoax. I wouldn't mind seeing the pictures if someone has them...

 

I can tell everyone for a 100% fact that it's not bull and that something is definitely going on, and that's not based on just having seen the pictures.

 

I can confirm that a new stadium was quietly built and was ready but then after the recent rain, it sank. Here's a pic just after storm Ciara but before storm Dennis finished it off.

 

Not the most important of points with this, but would be a good opportunity to have a signing section in a good location
