Last week Sørensen was quoted in the Danish media saying there was no way in hell he'd go to Barnsley. And even then we're talking an emergency loan. I'm not worried Nak - he can still make it here...

Barnsley couldn't pay his wages for starters. For seconds, he could walk into a number of bottom-half Premiership sides. And for desert, Barnsley are a laughably pointless, unglamorous team who could not sign any self-respecting aged Premiership player if they tried.
In Danish media it is suggested that Thomas Sørensen is wanted by Juventus. But he does not want to go there because most likely he would be backup for Buffon and he since he wants to play not just earn a pay check - he feels it would be a bad move.
I think you're right. He's on a free transfer this summer and for many more established premiership sides he'd be a wast improvement. Hell - he could end up at Spurs.

In today's BBC gossip page the Mirror is quoted saying Barcelona are looking to sign Sørensen. However,m he has previously stated he won't move to sit on the bench.

He's sh*t anyway. Would rather have Lee There's a better keeper at Villa who goes by the name 'Stuart Taylor'. He's young and he's English...and above all that, he's decent! Would rather see Stuart Taylor here.
Taylor was second choice after Sørensen - now he's second choice after Carson. He's Villa's Rich Lee - but without the boomerangability.
