I actually wouldnt be too angry if we got him he is a big physical player would win headers and has more composure and abilty with the ball at his feet than Hendo. BUT I would rather keep it at what we are now no point in buying him really because he isnt Prem quailty and the players we have atm will do fine at this level only bring in a striker if he will also do well in the Prem.
He's better than you are saying - good scoring records for Wednesday and Ipswich. Played lots of internationals. Not going to get any better at 30, but a powerful prescence.
i like to judge players on the basis of how much we would liket o play against them. 3 years ago god yes, hated playing against him Now, god no, forgot he was still playing
I have still not forgiven him for not giving us the ball back when we kicked it out for one of his injured teamates a few years ago. A definte no no despite this grudge though.
