I'm surprised there's more than 14 seconds of Steve Kabba's highlights tbh!

Another couple of goals from King Ken would be nice

Genuine footage of Sheffield in the aftermath of Hoedt's first attempted tackle:

Great movie that. Bloody unsettling though.

It was written Barry Hines who wrote Kes and an absolutely brilliant kids football book called 'The Blinder'

Is that the film about the Kestrel? I studied that at WGSFG. Absolutely awsome that was. Studied it alongside "To Kill A Mockingbird", which was an incredible book. Atticus Finch, Boo Radley, Scout and Jem. Damn I miss my childhood sometimes!

Thats the one Skylar. Its great film by Ken Loach, which kind of made his name.

Kill a Mockingbird is genius too.

    Late decision on Cathcart.

Be good cover at centre half and right back on the bench .

Kes was a ******* dull book. A kestrel for a knave, rather, was the book's title.

I've thought Cathcart's done ok so far this season, one of our better defenders.

Keith Stroud as the ref, what can possibly go wrong. Sheff Utd we’re clear favourites to start with, now with that joker in the middle, should lump your house on multiple bookings for Watford, a red card for Watford, a penalty to Sheff Utd and a Watford goal disallowed.

We did win at Cardiff with him in charge apparently although slightly better opposition tomorrow!

Add ‘One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest’ and you’ve got a hat-trick of avian masterpieces.

    Coming by car?

There are several multistory car parks, and one ground level car park, on Eyre Street, and it's a 10 to 15-minute walk to the ground.

    Coming by train?

    It's a 20-minute walk to the ground.

    Pubs en route:

At the station - the Sheffield Tap. A fabulous slice of history, this used to be the first-class lounge about 100 years ago. NB - no football colours allowed!!!

Opposite the station - The Howard Hotel. Normally away fans. Just across the road is the Showroom Cafe/Bar, well-suited to Grauniad readers. Up the hill is the Globe, again it tends to be away fans. Along the road from the Showroom is the Rutland Arms, a lovely real ale boozer. Bumped into a few Horns in there over the years '(dyed-blonde-hair Andy' and 'carrier-bag Pete',are you still out there??? You and your posse always used to turn up about 10 minutes after ko, always aled-up because you were always to be found in a decent real ale pub in any town or city prior to a game.)

Lordy, so many happy memories of away days gone by!!!

    Keep the Faith

Getting positive reviews from the opposition for your preview @Steel City Gold which isn't always the case with these!

68% of my life here, wfc4ever.

I may have posted this before, but Sheffield has the highest number of graduates who stay on and make it their home.

This in itself adds an extra dimension to the city, when one thinks how young the graduating whippersnappers actually are...

Any of the pub near the station likely to show 12.30 game whilst still being a nice pub rather than generic sports bar ,

As SCG says above, the Howard is the normal away fans pub and it shows live football, 15 min walk to ground

I think given that results have been fairly favourable over the last few matchdays, it's certainly not as much of a must-win as it looked likely to be, but with them spluttering it might be a chance for us to really stake a claim for the top 6...but then again we're hardly firing on all cylinders so they'll probably say the same!

A double hammy whammy? Super Ken could run it off.

The Bachmann og is plausible though. Throw it into his own net then scream at his team mates as it wasn't his fault.

Gotta get Louza in the 11 today he must be ready by now?

I'd get Louza in for Kone and leave the rest. Possibly Araujo for Davis but can't see Slav doing that after calling Sheff Utd a physical side.

Even more reason to play Araujo and not Davis. Davis has proven he cannot play the central striker role of holding the ball up or even winning it. We need to play around them not battle them, Araujo will do this better.

Wasn't it against these where we won 0-1 right at end with the Watford scorer nearly having his shorts pulled off him by a desperate Sheffield utd defender?

Also I remember the exodus of all the best watford players going to Sheffield United one after another. Especially Scullion. I couldn't believe that one. Not him too! Et tu brutus? What a shock!

The cartoon in the watford observer had a finger sign post saying watford one way and Sheffield the other. There were two groups of fans going in opposite directions and the caption was "We're going to watch Watford" and the others answering "So are we!". That's how bad it was. They took everyone.
