John Oster, John Halls, Ullises De La Cruz, Graham Stack, Adam Bygrave and Aaron Brown have all been released, do we want any of these 6?

Coppell isn't stupid ... Oster used to be a good player but he's 29 now.

De La Cruz would be a good RB if you ask me. Doyley is too hit and miss and should be backup whilst Mariappa's horrow show at the KC on Wednesday showed he isn't a RB.

De La Cruz is nowhere near good enough any more. He has declined really rapidly since joining Reading.

I wouldn't really want any of them.

John Oster wouldn't be a bad signing if you ask me.

No.. he isnt. He's bloody awful infact. I have the mis-fortune of having a reading season ticket holder for a gf and have seen him play a number of times. He wasnt rated at all by any Reading fan. He would give Doyley a good run for the worst pass of the season award.

John Halls might be worth a punt for our RB spot. He never really got a chance at Reading but I believe he did ok on loan at Sunderland.

John Halls is a good shout! Good player, but think it was Stoke he did well at? Don't remember him at Sunderland, But may be wrong!

On a free he would be a bargain!

None of them are better than what we have.

Agree that John Halls would be a good signing. Known to have bags of talent, but a bit injury prone. Worth the risk if you ask me.

Was John Halls once at Arsenal too as a youngster? Would snap him up, at least give him a trial. If I'm right in thinking he was a kid at Arsenal, look how others have done, Sebastian Larson, Fabrice Muamba, Alliadere, Bentley, Steve Sidwell etc There's only a handful I think that have flunked, E.g Ryan Smith, although at one point I rated him.

Think such players just need to find a club to fulfil there potential.

And for the arguement, he played for both Stoke and Sheffield United, but only made 6 appearances for the latter.

Believe he played a fair few times for Stoke, but must have been a while back now? 2002/2003?

Yes Cude ex Arsenal. Unfortunatly he devolped an awful sickness called being english so they had to let him go.

    That's right, mate!

Certainly don't remember him at Sheff Utd, but he was a key part of the Stoke defence before he signed for Reading!

De La Cruz and Oster are past it imo, and I don't know anything about Brown or Bygrave so can't comment on them.

I thought Halls was very good when he played for Stoke - although he hasn't played much for Reading he's proven in the Championship
I think Doyley will go so we'll need someone youngish but with more experience than Mariappa - seem to remember Halls was fairly tall as well?

Graham Stack - whilst i feel we need a new goal keeper i dont think he is the man. Never seems to have made it as a first choice
