nak why do you think we need another striker? id like your honest opinion on the strikers we have right now just so i can see why u persist about another striker
Probably the one player Robson does not want to sell at Sheffield United so I doubt it will be an avenue we are pursuing.
Well Aidy obviously thinks we need another striker, with the failed attempted purchase of Helguson, and the apparent quest to sign DJ Campbell. The reasoning is we have king, Hendos maybe on his way, Hoskins isnt up to it, Priskin is showing potential, Kabba is shyte, so if we want promotion, then yes, i would like another first team striker.
king: yay great hendo: none of us really know the facts so i wont say anything till i know if hes staying or going but in my opinion i dont think aidy is stupid enough to let him go hoskins: made a massive jump from league 1 to the prem of course he was going to look ***** so i think he could be alot better in the champ but thats just my opinion priskin: has showed alot of potential and a good eye for goal if we stop playing hoofball and give him the ball the way he likes it he could easily put 15-20 goals away next season kabba: yea ok hes ***** but again everyone looked poor last season bar 1 or 2 so who knows with a good pre season he could be ok as long as lazy wasn't really lazy but actually unfit but i wont hold my breath and to add to that i think bouazza is another option at striker and a good one too
We have 2 strikers that were excellent 2 years ago. Priskin ,Hoskins and moses show good potential and if they are going to improve need to be given a chance. Kabba has been good in this league previously. Also amazes me the trouble hoskins gets on this board. - Hes a young lad that moved half way down the country and up 2 divisions and hes being slaughtered on the back of 2-3 appearances? He was equal with sharp in scoring charts when moved to us, has showed a decent touch and movement - and hasnt been given enough chances to demonstrate his finishing - although if you watch some of his goals at rotherham you can tell its good.
hendo- from what ive heard he could be on his way, i agree that he would be a good striker in the premiership, and admire his courage despite a poor season last year. Hoskins- in fairness, i was a bit hasty, but from what ive seen, he will not be a starter, but merely a bench play in my opinion he may be not up to the physical demands of a whole season. Priskin- Key sentance, "if we stop playing hoofball". I really think he can do a good job, but not sure he will get the 20 goals you predict. kabba- lolzzz Aidy obviously doesnt! Boothroyd is the manager, your not, he obviously thinks we need another striker, chasin HH and DJ, and id like a quality finisher to partner king too.
