Carr is past it now and injury prone whilst Huckerby is good but not sure if he has the legs to fit into our high tempo run around like headless chickens style...
Well its not like we have many: Shittu,Bromby,DeMerit,Jackson:dismay:,Avinel only 3 of them are really in the first team squad
I can't see us signing two CBs unless both DeMerit and Shittu leave which may be the case if we don't go up. Otherwise i think we'll sign one and by the sounds of things it may well be Davenport.
Demerit and Shittu are both leaving if we get promoted or not. Yes Davenport will sign. Ramage and a very experienced rb in Carr would be nice. Ramage has played rb for Newcastle aswell if I remember correctly.
And how do you aquire this information!? I think Jay is off whether we go up or not! Not sure about Dan though?!
I'd say theyre probably both off too, seeing as Demerit doesnt seem to be classed as a first team player any more, and shittu will be off for back up in the prem, or possibly back to QPR. Davenport and ramage in the middle, class.
I hope Shittu goes. He's big and good in the air, but he's inept in just about every other department. The only way i'd be happy keeping him is if he was put alongside a classy technical defender, similar to Vidic and Rio but i can't see Boothroyd being able to find/recognise one. Responsible for a large percentage of our hoofs as well. Sell him and get in Davenport, assuming he's not crippled still.
