In todays "People" we have been linked with Latvian CB Jasper Gorkss!!! We are apparently at the head of a list of Championship clubs that are supposedly after him for £250K. For those of you who went to Blackpool, he is the long haired bloke who got Hendo sent off!!! Also in todays "People" we have again been linked with wanting to sign 22 year old GK David Martin from Liverpool on loan. We are again supposedly at the head of a list of Championship teams that want to sign him. This may have a ring of truth as it was reported in last weeks paper as well?
Gorkss has done alright for Blackpool. Some people might hold a grudge for him 'getting Hendo sent off' but imo Hendo was walking a fine line - had already clattered into their keeper etc etc (i know it's already been discussed) Even if we don't sign him, he is the type of player we need - solid and if anything undervalued. Be nice if we could get Hoolahan from them as well
JIIIIIPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOO! "IF" Shittu goes to rangers, he is not exactly the best replacement for him.
He's a good defender, I'd like to see him here in the price is right. Am I right in saying he's chipped in with a few goals also this season?
