I think Aidy should be hell bent in keeping all our star players ready for a good crack at promotion. Losing key players is never good and if we use the boozer 5mil example, what is 5 mil if you get promoted. I think we have a great squad now but still need to add a little class and experiance to the squad. I think someone like Fowler or Claus for example on a one year deal would be just the ticket. There are still alot of players out of contract with enough class and experiance to add depth to our squad. Keep the stars and bring in some more
Agreed, but there is a "silly" limit for any player. Aidy decided that close to £10M was the limit for Ash. I'm wondering how high he would go for Shittu or Bouazza.
Totally agree but remember it isn't all about what the club wants. If a player wants to go there is little point in keeping him if he is unhappy and a decent bid comes in.
so taking those amounts would mean £30 million to spend minimum. 1 player at £6 million 2 players at £5 million 3 players at £3 million 5 players at £1 million. A whole new first team That would be far better than keeping a player with a dodgy leg, an inconsistent one year wonder that was on loan to Swindon and a giant brick wall.
