Potguy, 100% totally agree with you I have just posted something similar on another thread. These people will never change their ways but thankfully they will also be the 1st to not show when things go to pot meaning those that actually are 100% behind the team no matter what, will be there to support the team in the way it should be and carry them forward !

I can't quite work out what part of that is insulting.

Do you go to bed every night dreaming up further complaints about the team, or do they just come naturally when you are sitting quietly in your seat, occasionally rising to tell Mahon to 'wake up'?

Rubbish. Where is your proof for that? I will be there, through thick and thin. Does that mean I forfeit the right to complain? I would wager most of the others who are critical will be there too. Sorry!

He ripped Portsmouth apart last season when we played the ball on the floor and down the wings.

Was watching it in a bar in Amsterdam, the same bar i had been watching the scores roll in for the Middlesborough game. The landlord, who we had become a bit matey, with just couldn't understand how we were thumped by Boro and also how we are bottom of the league after THAT display against Pompy.

I was also explaining to him after Gavin Mahon's wonder goal/fluke, that he is infact the worst player in the team and is generally useless.

    Rather confused by it all!

Absolutely. Some of us criticise because we care about what happens to our club. I'm not saying that the happy clappers don't care equally, but we just see things from different perspectives. I followed Watford throughout the 2 seasons in the 2nd division and have seen some rotten showings in my time. I'm still here, I still pay my money and I still reserve the right to have an opinion.
