Which Idiots have already rang to try and get tickets http://www.watfordfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10400~984557,00.html
"Keep checking the website because as soon as we know, it'll be the first place to find the news." As if.
Well maybe they should have put something up on the website like Plymouth with ticket prices and a sale date rather than saying nothing...
Plymouth know the prices, they're up on their website. And I'm sure regardless of what date the match is to be on the actual 'on sale' date will not change. Surely they did some planning for the eventuality of us actually winning last Saturday? Or maybe they watched the first 60 mins and binned the plans, confident of our demise?
Plymouth have announced prices, so in theory Watford could put something on the website saying how much they are and the on sale dates to each membership category, i.e. Monday 26th Feb for Plat + / Plat etc etc.
I don't suppose they will want to start selling until they have received the tickets from Plymouth and don't know when that will be. What's the betting that the date and time are on the Plymouth site before the Watford one?
Think it will be mate, that gives us two weeks. I can always get it for you when i get mine, drop us an email if you need too.
Looks like a lunchtime kick off for us lads. Spurs are in the UEFA Cup on the proceeding Thursday so will have to play Sunday. Which'll give them the 4pm slot, unless the Met decide Chelsea v Spurs is too dodgy for late afternoon. And I can't see Plymouth v Watford being the big BBC Saturday primetime game.
I'm amazed my login for the Watford site works on Plymouth's... I'm not a member, just a STH so I'm PRAYING I'll be able to get a ticket (or 2)
If you sgn in to watford first your user ID then gets you in to any clubs website that is hosted by PTV.
according to the fa.com we are playing on the saturday at 1500, along with west brom/boro v reading/utd
What does everyone think of the chances of the tickets selling out tomorrow? I dont want to get my tickets straight away and get stuck in the corner, i would rather wait a bit and get a central seat.
I didnt know that you could buy on-line. So I phoned up for mine, got Spurs and Plymouth and then me old man phoned and asked to get his and my brothers, so phoned up again and got tickets
sorry guys- probably another daft question. do i have to wait until thursday (silver member) before i can book online or can i do it now?
They do say that they'll be availoalbe on the door so anticipating that not all will be sold. I'm having to wait 'till monday but not too fussed if I cant get them as I seem to be jinxing matches lately.:dismay:
I'm not too sure, the kick-off time will still be a massive issue for some and it could all depend how popular the free coaches are. The fact they offered free coaches is the only reason i'm now going, i didn't want to pay to sit on one of them god awful coaches but i couldn't say no to a bargain ;D For many the coahes could be the only way of getting there but as i said the kick-off time will still stop some people going. I'd say there's a decent chance it'll go down to silver. Best of luck.
Coaches were a nice gesture from the club but leaving at 8:00 at the earliest? you're not going to be back in Watford until 1:00 Think a lot of people are goign to be put off.
8pm :sign1: :sign1: :sign1: :sign12: No chance. If there are no added mins the earliest finish will be around 7.45. If we win, people will stay behind cheering and clapping the players, if we loose a lesser amount will. You then have to get a large number of people back to the coaches, no easy feat. mix in Albert getting on the wrong coach and being separated from Elsie, then needing a pooh prior to departure. Then you have the possibility of 30 odd coaches needing escorting back to the main road, whilst another 18k make there way home. So common sense says plod holds back the coaches whilst the pedestrians clear. Then you have to fight your way up to the A38 junction where 75% of all traffic will go right. It could quite easily be 9pm before the first coach departs. then you have the traffic to contend with. Good luck, if you are on one of the last coaches its going to be a long drive home.
Jon, Don't forget Nana and Fred will be on those coaches. He only just got back from Leicester before Xmas and he is sure to hold things up.
Ah those were the days. Trolls with lots of thought and wit. Any idea what you are doing yet, PM or email rather than disclose to all
