Spot on. Plus he is hardly going to test his ability week in week out. But I suppose money talks...

We should buy this player just to confuse the **** out of the opposition.

So he's off to China then. Any player willing to drop to such a low level of football is obviously a player we'd be better off staying well clear of. Definitely dodged a bullet here.

conca became the highest paid brazilian in world football when he went to china (and i think the third highest in the world) so considering that paulinho is likely to be supporting his entire extended family back in brasil, it seems a bit harsh to criticise him for going there.

that sound right. if i recall correctly he was employing mao zedong's brother on a site of his and after they spit-roasted a tasty lady (he won't name names, but her's rhymes with beline peon) he had to get out of dodge for a few months (because this lady had morning after regrets and was talking about shopping him into the police [they sorted it all out during an epic drinking session in munich, which he won, naturally]), so comrade mao hooked him up with a job in beijing. after a few days he was fluent in all dialects and they refused to let him leave until he had finished educating their new generation

A reported fee of £9.9m. Glad we didn't get him at that price.
