More Jason Drysdale I would say, Sietes is obviously a talented player, Parkes is yet to convince me, especially as a left back. I expect it to turn permanent if he manages to impress even Barnet.
I somehow remember through all the booze at Southend earlier this season that he had an utterly horrid game. He played good against Accrington Stanley (who are they? etc.) in the CC last year though.
He's going to play for Valencia and other top flight Spanish clubs ? Wow, we best keep hold of him then. Let's face it, people on here rave about Parkes yet have rarely seen him play and had a stinker at Southend and by all accounts against Gillingham. We've yet to see any evidence as to why people think he's so great. Not to mention the fact he's right footbed playing at LB which is farking stupid and has been proven over the past few seasons that it's a complete disaster.
My boss is a Brentford fan and he says Parkes was rubbish when he went there. Although he did concede that Brentford have the ability to make some players look rubbish when they go on to play well at other clubs.
