Panoramic Photo's

Do All Digital Camera's Have The Panoramic Setting Or Is It Down To Memory Or Is It Just Some Camera's That Have it?

 

Not all cameras have it, but you can always take a series of photos side by side and then edit them together on the computer.

My Sony Ericsson mobile phone camera does... here's the view from the top of Strasbourg cathedral. I took three pictures and the handy little thing stiched them together.

Lol. I'm not much on photography but this has to be my favourite pic I've ever taken. I live in one of the charming white tower blocks in the back right - well in the character with the rest of the city

Just out of interest UEA the picture quality is very good, which Sony Ericsson phone is it?

There is also software out there that will stitch the photos together for you intelligently. I took some shots of Wembley stadium when it was being built and it worked well for me considering I didn't use a tripod.

Good question, I can't remember but I'll take a look around my saved stuff tonight. Produced this from a poor camera and a moving cameraman! (resized to fit the forum better).

 

Both those shots are great. I used to have a similar one on my sig of cardiff but got a bit bored. Should really do one at work here as I can see buildings like St Pauls, the Gerkin Monument etc.

I can do them on Photoshop despite it being time consuming.

 

Photovista Panorama was the program. V3 is out now, so much better. Shareware but I think you get a free month to play with it.
