Very good player, watched him at the u21 euros last year, underrated player and formed a great understanding with his CM partner Lewicki (who I'd prefer tbf).

Reids always thought Albin Ekdal would do well in the premiership this guy seems to be of a similar mould but younger..

Well with the former Palmero manager joining Udi.I would expect him to end up there.

Which likely means our enquiries/attempts to get him were true. As I said on that thread, would absolutely love him here. My only problem if we get him is the massive abundance of central midfielders we have at the club, which most likely means we'll be offloading a fair few this summer

Behrami and Capoue will hopefully be fit and ready to go, next season.

Then we have Watson, Suarez, Abdi and Gueds.

In regards to quality, if I was Gino, I'd be looking at that and thinking we need at least one midfielder, if not two.

    Edit: forgot about Doucoure

Never seen him play but he does look a bit like a younger Prodl so I'm in. If we are looking at bringing in a midfielder surely we will be offloading some.

Are our CM options actually that strong?

    DEFENSIVE: Watson, Suarez & Behrami

    NORMAL: Capoue

    ATTACKING: Abdi

    Unsure on Doccoure's role

Watson I think can be a bench player, Abdi can be a bench player if he's not playing as an attacking midfielder. Suarez has yet to flourish and we're unsure on whether he ever will.

We may have lots of central midfielders in the squad but in terms of variation there's not much between them.

I would put Suarez into the "normal" category and from what I've seen of Doucoure, he would also be in that group. We also have Gueds and Jurado to think about (though they will both most likely go). My point wasn't necessarily about strength in depth, it's just that we have a lot of depth and we need to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to say

Forgot about Gueds! Jurado should play strictly as a an attacking midfielder if at all!

Gueds can go if we bring in better. Not sure about the rest though, all good enough to be on the bench at a minimum!

I signed him on Football Manager 2013 a while back. We won the League Cup that same season.

    Draw your own conclusions.

In terms of quality they re all much of a muchness really.

Capoue is the pick of the bunch, Behrami is fantastic at breaking up play. The rest are not good enough to make the first team imo although Abdi and Jurado could make a case of needing some time in the favoured position.

I think we need a clear out of midfielders and FB s and get some real quality in.

Couldnt be bothered to watch more than the first 20 secs as I have already decided to boo him relentlessly, if he is ever to dirty the hallowed turf of Vicarage Road.

Can't agree m8. Islamic Fundmentalists the worse than IS Almohads were in control of much of Spain then, whereas in Sweden they had already invented Lingonberry Schnapps and Europop (probably). I know where a fella in search of a good time would have gone.

Good point. But even back then there would still be a British Bull Dog pub that served Watneys Red Barrel, nice Sunday roast and 3 day old copies of The Sun.
