If you were given a 1 million to buy a player for watford that we have a realistic chance of getting who would it be? I think i would go for Derek Geary from Sheff Utd. Exellent player IMHO.
Iain Turner from Everton. Potentially a good keeper. Would have said Izale McLoud a couple of months ago but we do not see to need yet another striker now
I think his price will be sky high as he has just broken a football league recored for the most conscutive clean sheets!
Hennessey is possibly one to buy like Man Utd did with Foster from Stoke. He is 3rd choice at Wolves at best, a 750k bid with potential add ons up to 2million could be sufficient (i think he is welsh so wouldn't put after international appearences as he is bound to get a call up very soon)
How much do you think Billy Jones at Crewe is worth? I'd say around £1 million, so i'd sign him, can play anywhere at the back (mainly centre back), still young and would be a great addition. I really hope we try and sign him over the summer as it is...
i would go scouting in brazil id get more than one player for a million and they would be quality players too also i blame football manager for me and my obsession with buying brazilian players
I would still love Robbo, but Mobray really likes him and he captain now. Don't think it will happen.
We should have broke the bank to sign Robbo purely as an apology to us fans for letting him go for such a derisory ammount in the first place. (200k was it) I'd have offered at least £2mil... maybe even £3mil..
If it wasn't for the fact that we've just signed a whole bunch of midfielders I would try to sign Daniel Baier from 1860 M*nchen. His contract runs out after next season and 1860 aren't likely to get promoted this year, so it shouldn't be impossible to get him for £1M.
