I can't believe the negativity from some on here! Despite playing much of the season under a ridiculously negative manager, we now sit 2nd with a 6 point lead on 3rd and 4 games to play. Some of the comments I've just read, you'd think we were Wycombe.
You've not been following very well. Troy is the reason we are only 2nd, if it wasn't for him we would of been crowned champions in November. Our fate as no hope losers was sealed when we did not offload him in the summer.
Feeling weirdly confident for this. Norwich have been on the piss all weekend and only need 1 win for the title, Pukki took a knock and surely won't be risked if he has any sort of problem, and they played most of the game with 10 men. We should be well up for it given Saturday.
Funny you should mention that. I do tell our guests that they can ski or cycle down the appropriate runs/tracks with the correct skills and knowledge. Of course, you have to allow for the odd hiccup. Most injuries are at slow speed/ caused by others or over confidence. A bit like Watford earlier on in the season. I want them to have a good time, but as with Watford, l can't do anything once they are out there. I will always support Watford, but l do not care as much as before. Promotion or not, after a few days it will pass. I do enjoy reading the threads on this site. We might be in the Premier league next season if the 'big six' get kicked out. So there is always hope
To add to this Farke has just said that Cantwell, Hanley and Pukki are major doubts as well as the left back being suspended.
Yep if those three are out we should really be getting something combined with half the players drinking all night two days before the game.
Norwich City will make late calls on the availability of Grant Hanley, Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki for Tuesday's visit of Watford. Team News: Late decisions to be made on City trio - News - Norwich City (canaries.co.uk) I see Norwich playing a bit of mind games. No doubt we'll hear stories saying Buendía's leg has fallen off during training later today.
Surely they won’t risk the fitness of players at this stage? Either way, it’s a boost that they are missing one guaranteed and have 3 who are touch and go. We really should be getting something from this game
I can save everyone the trouble of getting their hopes up. Norwich's three doubts will all start, none of our players that are "in contention to start" will be fit.
I'd be very disappointed if it's true that they are "unfit" due to Bingo commitments. Twisted knee, 33. Too much wine, 29. Got to the coach late, 48 Baileys & wh0re, 64 Covid 19, 19
Its a game that will suit our fancy dans much more than against the scum, wall, brum etc. Can see a goal in it either way.
You overestimate the stamina of our ultra professional highly fit squad. But bonus marks for mentioning Bailey's without adding 2 fat ladies, 88
No press conference from Xisco today? Could really do with the news that Chalobah, Masina, Ngakia are all fit and that Sarr didn't hurt his ankle against the scum...
The more I think about this game the more I think it will be a slaughter in either direction. They either get some early goals and put us to the sword, or our motivated team batters an already promoted side. What I fear most about Norwich is I’ve actually heard of some of their players, unlike most teams we face. Prediction Norwich 7-0 Watford Pukki ( 5, 7, 12, 23, 28, 32, 38); Cleverley (missed pen 90+4)
It's the right time, just before the final critical games. Put our faith in Richard Johnson and Graham Stack this time around.
This has similar echo's of a certain 6pm Tuesday night game against Manchester City where we hoped to bounce back from an absolutely non performance in a local away game against easier opposition where a result would've all but guaranteed our goal was met. We were battered, results started turning against us and a week later we were relegated when most outside of the club thought it near impossible. Let's hope this team has more bottle than those losers.
The plot was lost a while ago, I need this club promoted already. Buendia already feeling like Maradona ahead of tomorrow.
