For the 500,000th post in this section! It now stands at 500,019 and i think the milestone post was around 7 or 8 yesterday (Tuesday) evening but it's really difficult to work out which exact post it was. PS I wonder what the millionth post will be?
It was me. I saw the opportunity when I logged on and saw it was on 499,999. So in the 'Will we finish top 10' thread, #45, I gave the simple response 'No', just because I could. No fanfare, no cake, just a bit of smug self-satisfaction.
Where can u read how many posts the forum/we have made? Since the new format I can't see it as I post. I was going to celebrate with a whole dissertation/diatribe for my 1000th post but now I haven't a clue how many I've made. I was also a club captain or international or something but now I'm just a 'reservist', and I don't even know what that is but it sounds like a real slap in the ... disappointed
The millionth post will be a new thread/poll asking if we sold Fessi too soon and should we bring him back?
When on the "Home"or "Forums" start page you can see the number of discussions and messages listed under the name of each forum. Also when on that page i have a box on the right hand side (under an obligatory advert) which shows my number of messages, likes and points. Click on your avatar there and you'll get a few more details come up in a separate box, when you joined the forum etc. This info also comes up if you click on someone else's avatar or anywhere that you see their username. Well this describes how things are for me on a laptop anyway.. i havent checked on a mobile. You've currently made 1,773 posts btw and as for your specialist name that has to be set by an admin. Mine stayed the same after the changes but perhaps yours was lost during that time?
Wahay! Congrats (though i was hoping it was me ) Perhaps fitting that it was a negative post "no" that marked the milestone
My mind may be slipping but I thought we had originally hit 1,000,000 near the end of the promotion season. I vaguely remember @Meister saying that if he hadn't deleted so many posts we would have hit it a month earlier.
If I'm not mistaken, for some reason did all our post numbers not instantly double when we were migrated over to this new forum? Amusing, as whilst doubling they simultaneously busted us down a rank or two. I still remember my post celebrating 'captaincy' status, and now I'm Rene Gilmartin.
Agreed, I might have to hand in a transfer request!!!!! I deserve regular first team football!!!!! Sick of this schmidt!
Yeah thanks Stevo I use a smartphone and can see the number of discussions and messages and can see how many and who's online - members guests and robots! But there is no box and no personal info on the phone version. Maybe this info is just on a laptop login. Personal info doesn't show number of posts either. There used to be a 'Full Version' or something in the old style which expanded the info given but there is no such option on my phone. Will have to use laptop to get personal info how prolific or not I am Also, if mods are reading, it's disappointing the emojis are restricted to etc with no jumping SEJ scoreboard men and all those other options we used to have- or are those also only on a laptop version ?
Today is the 5 year anniversary of the Pozzos taking over. And Troy's birthday. ....and yet there's still no cake?
I remember, about two years back, you questioned how I'd managed to stick 3.5k of the things in the back of the net over a 10 month period. The implication was that I might have a bit too much spare time on my hands. At the time, you were correct ...
Yeah thanks. Born a Watford supporter with a predetermined life of a few highs and many many lows! Am looking at the cup half full as we speak.
Chicken feed compared with the big hitters. 20,000 posts seems to be the benchmark by which the top posters are judged. We currently have 19 members over that mark and if TheDon can get another 53 posts under his belt we will have 20 over 2ok. Here is the list of the top posters.. http://wfcforums.com/index.php?members/ Interstingly zztop and Moose are within a couple of hundred of each other. Is this because they always answer the other ones posts?
All the Orns seem to have gone as well. I had over 100,000. I know there's no vbookie right now but if it comes back my 63 aren't going to last too long.
vBookie was good, it only took me 10 minutes per week to set it up. However given the fact that it wasn't real money it was quite disappointing that so few people bet their horns each time.
