Poor bloke...maybe he should go and manage a club WITH NO MONEY and trying to buy players in. What the hell is he moaning about with such a rich owner backing him to pay 24 million on strikers and 21 million on a Reserve winger. Its partly his fault clubs think Chelsea can pay 'over the odds' because that is what he has done.... Cannot feel sorry for him I am afriad...afterall he sold 2 defenders in the summer and brought in at least 2 other players (we all know who they are) who have been pretty average whilst having no cover at the back
the fact is he was so desperate to get cole, he let gallas go which IMO was a big mistake, especially on the last day when he couldn't sign a replacement. What amazed me was he must have known lefrog was interested in gallas and if he wanted Cole so much he knew the deal would go through he should have had adequate cover.
it is his fault, 14 million for drogba and 30 for shevshenko. if the clubs feel they can get morre money out of him, they would be stupid not to push the price up
