i wouldnt have minded seeing him in the premiership a bit more, then again, Aidy has been good with sending players on loan...Bouazza and Chambers both came back different players after thier loan spells last season and the present one!
Plays 1 full game, scores, then we hardly see him, same with Prisken as well, although he managed to get a start against Charlton
To be honest anyone with any common sense didn't expect to see Ashikodi in a Premiership game for Watford this season.
Good move. I'd also like to see Hoskins go on a loan, although with the amount of money we payed for him I guess Aidy will keep him here.
Would Hoskins be allowed out on loan though? I thought that new FIFA law means players can not play for more than 2 clubs in a season (unless you are Mascarano and you club has lots of money and is part of the G14 )
Ah, yes, you are right of course. Good thing Moses didn't play for Rangers this season or he would have had the same problem! Well, next season with King coming back I definitely think Hoskins and Moses should both go out on loan.
Hoskins has only moved once... from Rotherham to Watford Mascherano moved from River Plate to Corinthians to West Ham
I don't think loan moves count in FIFA's ruling because players go on so many. Its only full transfers. Players like Bas Savage (a striker) have played for 5 clubs this season.
Ah right so loans don't count, good. Still a stupid rule though, especially if a player fails to settle at a club. Makes you think how steve clarrage would have coped with the one move rule as he used to change clubs at least 5 per season
Perhaps England has special rules then, because the FIFA rules for international transfers say that a player can be registered for a maximum of three clubs in one season, but can only play competitive matches for two clubs within that season. It also says that loans are to be treated in the same way as transfers. The international season runs from 1st July one year to 30th June the next year. However, each association also has independent rules (that's why loans between Premiership and Championship clubs can be made outside the FIFA transfer window). The last bit in bold is clearly not the case for England.
Good for Moses, get a few competative games in, maybe score some goals to gain confidence, and who knows? He could be in the team a few times next year.
