Seems today there have been many sql database connection errors and page not found errors. This is due 100% to our wonderful service host providers! Today I have been creating merry hell for them, and even been on the phone to their American support team for half and hour. They have promised to move us to a quieter server and guaranteed better uptime and all round faster working by the start of next week. I can only apologise for the inconvenience. If I have to dump them and move the whole forum to a new home then I'm prepared to do it. They are on notice >
I run a dedicated server and would be more than happy to run your forum. The server is based in Guildford so less ping time than US servers... PM me and we can sort out a transfer....no probs...
Thanks for the offer Cololnel. I've signed up for a long term plan with the hosts I'm using right now and want to give them a chance to get things right first. I received a lot of assurances today that things were being sorted so we'll wait and see, but once again thanks for the offer.

I have dabbled in a few servers in my time and also go here to see the good deals etc...
Trouble with peoples opinions is that they don't tend to post when they're happy with a service, only when they're pi**ed off. I researched until I was fed up to the back teeth of researching and plumped for IX. We'll see how they stand up to their promises, but again, the offer is appreciated.
