    c+p from skysports:
"Vincenzo Montella is training with Fulham and should complete his move to the club in the next 24 hours.

The Italian international arrived in London on Wednesday and has already met his new team-mates.

The 32-year-old is to sign on a six-month loan from Roma with a view to penning a permanent deal at Craven Cottage.

Skysports.com understand the move will be completed on Thursday, once the formalities of a medical have been completed.

Fulham are likely to include Montella in their squad for their FA Cup tie at Leicester City on Saturday."

Does this mean that it would be more likely that John is on his way out?

It should mean that they are likely to let one of their other 3 forwards go. But who knows what interest there might be in HH and McBride.

But it certainly doesn't make it more difficult for us.

    Fulham sign Roma striker Montello

c&p from bbc site. Could this open the door for Collins John to leave ?

Roma striker joins Fulham on loan

    Montella joined Roma in 1999
Roma striker Vincenzo Montella has joined Fulham on a six-month loan deal.
The 32-year-old, who was a member of the Italy 2002 World cup squad, was in his eighth season at the Serie A club.

Montella, known as the airplane because of his trademark goal celebration, played for Empoli, Genoa and Sampdoria before joining Roma in 1999.

"Roma have perfected an agreement with Fulham to loan on a temporary and free basis Vincenzo Montella," a statement on the Italian club's website said.

Montella was part of the Roma team that won the Serie A title - the Scudetto - in 2001, scoring several crucial goals as they closed in on the championship.

I didn't insult you or name-call (which is what normally happened if people did similar on the old site), I was just pointing it out.

A John offer being accepted is news to me though.
