    Ambrose wasn't offside, the other Chalton player who is clearly not interfering with play is in an offside position but as he doesn't benefit from it no offence is committed. Sorry, legit goal.

    oh i see, got the players mixed up, but lee would have been aware of t=him being there and would have affected him. if the ball goes right over you head you are interfering

    Lee should have saved it anyway.

    Interference really has to involve blocking the view or movement of the goalkeeper in my opinion. The ball was obviously heading to the back post so really Lee should have been able to judge that and rule out the player in the middle as a threat. If he didn't/couldn't that's his own fault, not the rules.

    so if someone dummys a shot to the left than lets someone else go right thats not interfering?

    A) Yes "TilIDie, you are Welsh, hence the nickname.

    B) Indeed, the goal was perfectly legitimate. Not a hint of offside about it. The player in an offside position had absolutely no part in the goal whatsoever!
