Right now, we are crying out for a player like this. Possibly even desperate for one, and he could well be a good signing. However, a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have suggested swapping him with Abdi. This does appear to be another sign that Gino is facing a very steep learning curve on buying for the PL. He will get there, but still a bit of an eye-opener.
