And supposedly West Ham want Pereyra so we must be outsiders for that signing too? I do love the ambition being shown by Gino if true but must be a tough gig to convince the big names to come to us over the likes of arsenal West Ham and champions league Leicester.

Mmm, potential of having a choice between Arsenal and us. Can't really blame him if he would prefer a move to the Emirates or Leicester with their Champions League place.

Of course it'll be viewed as "if he doesn't want to come here I don't want him".

  6. Arsenal not that appealing, automatic injury every 5.13 days - its in their standard contract T&Cs

I don't have any info on this one. Will ask around

25 man squads often need padding out, not everyone is happy for a bench spot and not everyone will play in Europe.

And Arsenal outside the top four? ... unfortunately probably not. They have a pretty decent and settled squad, no one else will put four past them but they'll still get theirs.

They will finish below MU,MC, and Chelsea. One of Liverpool or spurs will finish above them. They have under just invested for too long only buy in players the big 3 don't want.

They don't buy players full stop from what I can see. Their side is exactly the same as the double winning side of 98/99, except Lee Dixon has now retired.

Was said last year but for all their lack of investment they still finished above all of those.

Only a crazy madman would write them off after one game.

Wrote them off before the season started. Sunday just confirmed my belief. Do you honestly think they will finish above the big 3 ? Ozil and Sanchez want out and won't sign New deals. This is the year they flop.

Ramsey injured again, out for a month. They really do have the worst injury record of any club ever.

Wenger has got to go .

As my nearest club it's become too depressing watching hoards of miserable gooners walking past my door every fortnight .

Has Wenger been given the 100m+ transfer budget which would be needed to compete in the market to the satisfaction of Gonner fans? Not sure if it's him or the board.

It'sa tough market for teams like aarsenal... they'd spend £40m on a player but that won't even get them the calibre of player they need. They need to up their level of scouting big time and pick up a few gems.

Wenger has run his course too. IIt'll be his last season.

Spurs are struggling to compete financially too i assume this is due to the extra cost of the stadium. Interesting if the lose Eriksen.

It is indeed because of Spurs' new stadium. That's why they have been giving such game time to the players that have come through their academy.

Wenger once said that his most challenging time as Arsenal manager was when they had to cut back on recruitment expenditure as they had a brand new stadium to pay for. Looks like Spurs will be in this mould for several seasons.

Trouble is they didn't really start spending again after stadium was completed. Not clear if it's the profit seeking board or the naturally prudent wenger to blame.

Probably still finish in the top 4 above Spurs!

I dont know of a single Arsenal fan that wants Wenger to stay. Thats proper season ticket holding long term Arsenal fans, not your armchairs.

I heard a journalist on 5L about 8 years ago say that Wenger had to sell a player for approximately £15m a season,in order to finance The Emirates. Henry,Fabregas I think were two examples.

Above Spuds maybe but not top 4 unless Arsene opens up his moth-eaten, cobweb-covered cheque book. The two Manc clubs, Chelski & the Scoucers will finish above them otherwise

Two from Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U will be fighting West Ham for the Europa places, Arsenal top three at least.

We're being linked with this guy again.

Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina is likely to leave the J Stadium in the summer as a big centre midfielder is expected to sign for the Serie A giants at the end of the season. The Gabon International joined Juventus on loan in summer 2015 and the Old Lady made his move permanent for just € 8 million at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

The former Marseille man is not a regular starter in Turin, but Max Allegri plays him every now and then to give some breathe to regular starters.

Lemina picked up an injury during while on International duty with Gabon National team at the AFCON but has already recovered from his physical hassle, so much so he has registered two appearances since he made return from the International competition.

According to Tuttosport (via Juvenew), the Old Lady is open to sell the player for € 20 million in the summer with Watford and Crystal Palace interested in welcoming the services of the 23-year-old midfielder.
