I think it's between them or Newcastle for the suprise packages, possibly Everton aswell. It's the best Premier league in a long time, a lot of decent sides, look at Manure failing to beat Reading and Pompey. I can't believe that's Man City's first home goal since New Years day...that's madness!
They have played two games, against Spam and Derby so hardly the top sides. However, they are looking impressive under Sven and I will certainly be looking out for their results over the next few months to see if they do have the ability to push themselves up the league.
I was about to agree about Man City when I felt the need to point out that the team to watch was indeed Watford.
As we are now in the Fizzy Pop I have decided to look out for Man Citys results this season (hey I need a team to watch for MOTD)
I think Sven was harshly done by as England coach, so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him turn Man City into a top 5 outfit over the next couple of seasons. This year they'd do well just to target a UEFA Cup place.
Agreed he did well at Lazio etc, with a bit of money behind him is probably capable of sewing together a good team
He's proven at club level so that could be a good shout for Man City being this seasons suprise package, I think Newcastle could pull it together in the next couple seasons as well.
People seem to forget that Sven has won 3 doubles in all different countries, he's a great manager at club level, for any manager managing England it's too much pressure and thats why the fail!
They have Schmeichel Junior between the sticks. 3 clean sheets in his first 3 PrL matches. Not too shabby.
He could not concede a goal all season and he would still have difficulty living up to his fathers reputation.
