Because they all realise quite quickly that he's not funny. His TV stuff was embarrasing.

 

Steve Penk made the mistake of letting ITV shove him about onto whatever new show they could come up with - which all turned out to be disastrous.

I don't think you can really blame him for that!

He's a true radio personality, and great - like it or not!
