earlier in the week i did tell you the truth about me speaking to someone in the board of the cc.i said that we were going for dong fongzhou on loan and maybe eagles. i was speaking to him yesterday at the wolves match and he said we have nearly agreed a deal for fongzhou and that eagles wont be coming sadly. also he said boothroyd wont be selling hendo any more and that we trying to spend the money from the bouazza deal on marcus bent and ben watson reply
What do you have to be smug about ? We haven't actually signed him, it's pure specualtion on the sky sports website.
Scored 20 goals in 14 games for Dalian Shide in China Scored 34 in 70 for Royal Antwerp Has played 9 games for United but hasnt scored any Plays at full international level for China, playing 10 scoring 1
United probably only bought him, so they could sell masses of their shirts etc. in China!!! Hey!!! That's not such a bad idea, sign him up :]]:]]:]]
In the 2005-06 season for Royal Antwerp, Dong impressed as he finished as the top scorer for both his team and the league with 18 goals including two hat-tricks. In 2006, he again joined Manchester United on a pre-season tour which this time was in South Africa. He scored the winner in a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs. Sir Alex Ferguson remarked that Dong had the "speed and physicality" to play for United
That is a good idea! If the club wouldn't get arsey like they do and keep the shirts to themselves...
Marcus Bent? I know he scored yesterday, but I wouldn't be getting excited if we signed him. I know we can do better in central-midfield than Mahon, but is Watson the answer? We've still got Williams to come back. I can't remember the last time I saw Watson play, but remember reading reports that he wasn't that great for Palace last season. Is he a defensive midfielder? I'm not bothered about Eagles not coming, he is too lazy.
The dong rumour has been going around for a while anyway, and as Chewitt said at the moment it's just speculation. Hendo staying was in a number of papers over the last week. Ben Watson seems unlikely, but as you have said it, it OBVIOUSLY must be true.
Ben Watson would be a quality buy. Someone in midfield who can put his foot on the ball. But I doubt this very much that it would happen.
The only way i can link this to being true is if Aidy saw McAnuff and Watson linked up well at palace, so is trying to get the two to work together again?
Just watched a watford video and after it finished it comes up with other videos you can watch, and Dong came up :]]
Man Utd will be in serious trouble if they have to resort to calling upon Dong to play for their first team already.
so that leaves tevez then they have sold smith solskaer(sp) is out injured so yea that does leave them with dong i think unless they play with a lone striker with giggs playing off the shoulder which they have done before
Tevez is available, Solskjaer and Saha both start training again this week. If we want Dong we can have him. I personally really don't want him as he is terrible from what I've seen.
