He came with a big reputation and never really looked like the player he was made out to be. I'd assume he's on pretty high wages, whether he's any better than what we have though, i'm not certain. Perhaps a better question to ask would be, should we be looking for better and can we attract any better?
YY a decent suggestion well done, give yourself a gold star. Miller was definately a prospect when at Celtic but I think he had a pretty poor loan spell at Leeds as well whilst at United where he certainly failed. I definately remeber Keane saying that his poor timekeeping is a reason why he is not in the picture at Slumberland and why he went on the list initionally last year. Could be that he is just another one of those wasted talents who would much rather pish it up the wall (pretty much like most of us there!) I do think we could get a few decent players from the clear out at Slumberland, as a lot of the plyers that took them up did not get a sniff last season, especially the SGB
mentioned him myself the other week - was put on the transfer list a few months ago for missing training. Good midfielder and most importantly can score goals - would do a very good job in the championship for most clubs. Think he can play in the centre, though mostly out wide - if he's learnt from his possible lack of discipline but most importantly if wages aren't a problem i'd snap him up.
Loads of ability but his attitude seems to have let him down. Perhaps he just needs a chance. He might see us as a stepping stone he needs. If we could afford him then yes
