Very much understood. The silver lining is that this desperate run is perfect for displacement activities. I was peaking at my tax return when you posted.
This is perfect! We can use the Berghuis chant! “Our Hause, in the middle of our street Our Hause, in the middle of our street” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Why would he come here when Wolves are probably more likely to be in the Premier League next season than us!
Back in for Hause again apparently. https://www.footballinsider247.com/...=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1640935049
Our Hause ? In the middle of our defence ? Could be our castle and our keep ? There's always something happening and it's usually quite loud.
Exactly what I was thinking. He’s actually 4th choice at Villa. Had a lot of promise a few years ago, but has gone backwards since it seems. I've had a quick look on the Villa forums, as that's usually a good indicator over a player. Not too much chat on Hause, but the general opinion is he's not really good enough for them and is a clear backup option. He's quite liked, but I'm thinking he's probably their WTE. Nice chap to have around the place, but they prefer it when he's on the bench. He did score the winner again United this season though, and regularly pops up with the odd goal here and there. Left footed too. If we signed him, and he's the only incoming CB, then I would resign myself to relegation, as I don't see him as a strong enough upgrade on what we have. But if we sign two new CB's with the other being a clear upgrade, I could buy into that.
None of that matters, in Gino’s eyes if either Wikipedia or Transfermarket say he’s a defender, then he’s more than good enough for the role.
I think this is a bad way to look at things though. The question we should ask when signing these players are. A) Does he fit the way we play to play, B) What is his skillset that would make him thrive for us and C) Is he better than what we have. Ans the answer to A and C is yes and the answer to B is he’s an aerial monster that can defend space really well. This would be a good signing as he and Sierralta are extremely similar, but I’d say Hause is better. He gives us balance and dominance and that can only be a good thing
I do wish Gino would turn the ‘Contract expiring in 6 months’ search filter off on his Football Manager save.
I'm left footed and fourth choice here behind Mr IBB,Ford and the improving youngster Persephone. Shall I contact Gino?
Most of our current defenders are great at defending space at the moment. I just wish they would defend the ball and/or an opposition player instead. Space never scored!
We could swap Adam for one of the statues at the Foro Italico. They look beautiful but don't do much. I called him. He said I was on the short list but did I have numbers for Virginia Wade and Christine Janes?
My contract at Hoddesdon expired about two years ago as the club are too busy deciding the relative importance of Pavlova v Victoria sponge to renew it. My agent is Cub Laurie, the young fox,son of Pretty Fox. He's always first to the food so useful in awkward negotiations.
Yes as long as you can make the pre-match tactical and training session in Cassiobury Park between 10.30-11.00 tomorrow morning. We may need to change that surname for "historic reasons". You will be known as "Iblaminhos" or "Bert". Your choice.
Given that Robert Morley thought Sydney should be renamed 'Bert' I'll go with that although I'm quite taken by 'Iblaminhos' sounds like I could be in 5 Century BC Athens! Will I receive a five year contract?
He already knows about you, IBB. You're on his list, he's checked it twice, and he's decided if you're naughty or nice. The former, probably.
