Don't think Curbishley was there yesterday to watch Darius and seeing as AC only watched the game when we were attacking (the rest of the time was spent reading the programme or talking to the scout he was with) it can only mean 1 thing, he was watching King. He left 12 mins before the end, so missed Marlon "playing" in the corner.
At first there was debate as to who he was watching. But it soon became very clear he was only interested when the ball was in there half, so we all assumed King. I actually spoke to him at the start of the 2nd half and siad if you are watching King you can @@@@ off, he laughed and said I have watched him twice already. The other side of the coin is he was watching someone from Hull? But if it was a Watford player then it is definitely only 1 from 2 choices.
If he was watching a Hull player, then it would have to be defender/goalkeeper if he was only watching when we were attacking. I severely doubt that any of the Hull defenders were being watched and West Ham have Robert Green so I guess it rules out them. King it is then!
Spam have strikers in abundance. Wouldn't be one our players - we have sold the best. That only leaves a certain 'Boro loan signing and is Etherington doing the business at the Spammers?
Maybe it was O'Toole? He had a strange habit of passing to our own players, someone in the Premiership must have been alerted
Can't stand Curbishley...complete to$$er, should have slapped him about Jon Can't see Aidy letting King go in January, especially if we're still in this position...he'd be an absolute mug to jepordise our position for a quick buck, especially seeing as the pot of gold will come in May

He won't go. Here's why: We don't need the money. He has a £60m TIC price tag (which equates to priceless) Nobody wants to go to Spam. Curbishley is ****. He would join a small stockpile of about 10 strikers and would kill time on a fat paycheck. He is a legend round these parts.

Well then i'm glad you're not the manager! Why jepordise the position we're in by selling your best player for £10,000,000 when you can make £60,000,000 in promotion, AND still keep the player!? If we sell King in January to anyone, then IMO we've definatley blown automatic promotion! As Aidy said yesterday, it's his ALL ROUND team play that makes him stand out, not just his goals! He makes just as many as he scores! If we sell him we lose our talisman and creator! :dismay:
He could have been watching Adam Johnson, he'll be gone just before January, one fo the future, maybe he want him to back up Etherington.
