Now that is better. A proper midfielder, likes to get stuck in and not costing a great deal as contract was up in summer. On a bad note, has had lots of injury problems in his career
two and a half years seems a long loan... http://www.watfordfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~1230214,00.html
Quite highly rated at Cov and with Stoke but suffered with a very bad injury few seasons back... Good player I think though. Cannot be any less lightweight than our current midfielders!

So who'll be the first joker the call him john eus-less after his debut.A much needed new center mid, good stuff, think that rules out whelan though, if he came to we'd be in dreamland!
I don't really know much about him as an individual, but he has made 20 starts and 5 sub appearances for Stoke this season, who are generally an incredibly physical side and solid defensively. He could be a very useful signing and hopefully he should be replacing Willo.
Only seen him play once and played really well and stood out for me, his passing was impressive aswell which can only be a good thing. Well done Aidy, youve done well this jan
lol @ the ***** on the watford observer site thinking we can get premiership quality players. people expect to much seriously from this club. we're not even a BIG club.
Do they ever stop moaning on the watford observer forums ? Whats the betting is Affleck Posting under sevral accounts.
Top notch signing he is a brilliant player! How we have signed Stoke City captain for such a low fee is beyond me though??
"tough-tackling" according to his profile on Stoke's official site. He has made 20 league starts and 6 sub appearances, and played 2 FA Cup games and 1 League game (so obviously a popular player there). http://www.stokecityfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10310~5634,00.html Stoke are generally pretty solid defensively, so hopefully he'll add some of that quality to us. Eustace and Francis in centre-mid sounds quite good to me. I can't find any popular Stoke message boards though to find out what they think about him leaving.
Grudgingly, I think he has done better than I expected. Let's hope the players deliver. We've still got a few hours Johnson on loan with a view to buy and I'll go back and edit every anti-aidy post I've made (not really, but I might say something nice about him).
People in Stoke are illiterate to a man/woman/child. It's very insensitive of you to mention message boards in that context.
Is anything you post not negative? he was recovering from injury and needed a few games under his belt.
I doubt will be buying anyone else, but I reckon there may possibly be a loan signing? JOHNSON PLEASE :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:
He'd just come back from a serious knee injury. Any football is good football when it comes to getting fit I won't hold my breath moog, I'm told that's it for the 'in' column this time round. We might have one leaving though I'm told. You want Oakcake. Unfortunately it's crashed because they're all so annoyed :]]
