Hopefully administration is only 12 months away, at which point I will decisively be proved right and never have to interact with you goons ever again.
I didn't say they were "bad" did I Jumbo ? And I certainly don't think they are. I just read the back and forth and see there are usually 4 or 5 likes on one side and usually none on the other so I give LR "a like" as I think his points are as well made and equally blunt. You and I don't share the same views of Pozzo but I respect your more negative view and of course we both share the same concern on the 3rd party debt. I do genuinely worry that for some posters the disappointments of the last 2 seasons might have a huge impact on their overall level of happiness with life generally and that can't be good. We're all different.
Yes that's a worry for me too ..... administration, not that I won't have to interact with you again, of course .
That’s not true though. Not sure why people get upset about “likes” to be honest but most posts on the other side of a row have 3 or 4 of the same people liking it as well. It’s natural when views of our loathsome owner are so entrenched.
Someone put me on ignore and when I started a match thread they couldn't see it. They then popped up elsewhere confused that no-one had been talking about the game all weekend. How I chuckled...
You are when rather than acknowledge a simple point when it's presented to you with clear evidence, you refuse or are unable to acknowledge it and instead repeatedly post nonsense in reply in a failed attempts to deflect. Take a leaf out of @Jumbolina 's book the other day in that regard, he just replied holding his hands up and there was no need for a tedious back-and-forth, and things were less tedious and less antagonistic as a result
You're evidently talking about a19tgg here right? Or are you also somehow unable to simply admit that 35 is a higher number than 30?!
Cos we needed the money. Anywhere between £20,000,000.01 and £40m. It was either a dreadful deal, or the deal of the century.
What am I supposed to do that for? Why didn't any PL club come in with a £35mil offer for Cucho? Meanwhile, it's a statement of fact that 35 is greater than 30. 35 is also much greater than the 9 someone was willing to offer for Cucho.
I think at one time or another he’s had almost everyone on ignore, no wonder the poor guy is always so confused!
Classic dodge, oh the irony, in other words no you can’t admit you were wrong about something whilst asking me to do the same. I really don’t want to carry the stupid bickering on for the sake of everyone else but can I ask you one question? have you ever been wrong about anything, and if so what?
You've still not even put forward what exactly I'm supposedly dodging! Yeah, a few seasons ago I didn't think MacAllister and Bowen would turn out to be quite as good as they have - and I even recently said well done to Smudger for recognising it with MacAllister. I've even done some earlier self-reflection as to why I might have misjudged them.
Don’t really need the ignore button; when you see the name of the poster, don’t read the post if you find the poster annoying.
So farewell then Joao Pedro We all knew you had to go Brighton isn't the Copacabana Although it has a beach and an Elsie Tanner Lookalike So I'm told. EJ Thribbio aged 17 and 3/4
It was kinda Watford related in the sense that there were posters on here who were wanting us to sign Bowen.
Can’t say I’m overly bothered that he’s going. I’ve never felt his talent has reflected his application and effort. He’s been in some terrible teams to be sure so maybe it was that. If he’d played every game like the way he played against Luton, I’d probably feel different. Good luck to him though, can’t say I’m going to go out of my way to watch Brighton now (like most of our supporter base appears to be) nor will I randomly start booing him when comes back for a game in the future.
Is the Pedro transfer a job lot with half the forum posters included? For what it’s worth, I think it’s a fair price, for a potentially great player. Not as impactful as Vydra or Ighalo were for us in the Championship, but a chance to develop into a solid Premier League performer at Brighton. Hopefully Sarr will be the next out the door. As ever though it’s the replacements, not the money that is key to moving the team forward.
That's fine until it's half a thread. Tbf I only have a couple of people on Ignore. But it has improved my forum experience no end
Yes you are. Decent of you to admit it because admitting you’re wrong is not something that comes easily to you. If you don’t like what he posts just ignore it
The ease to which a few on here get into an argument is quite astonishing. “Tried one of the clubs new luxury sausage rolls at the match today” “Why did you do that as they clearly aren’t luxury” “It literally says ‘luxury’ on the packaging” “But it’s clearly not luxury is it, probably low quality meat purchased at a premium, much like a Mogi special transfer” “Who said it actually was luxury though” “You’ve literally just said it was luxury, see post #2087 on the subject” “You clearly have a problem with reading correctly” “No, I can read perfectly well, you’ve stated it’s luxury when it’s not” “I said it was CALLED luxury, which it is” “Then obviously you have no idea what luxury is, and probably see a McDonald’s as a special night out” And on and on and on and on and on… In other news, good luck to Pedro, I really liked watching him play and hope, and believe, he’ll have a great time at Brighton and beyond. Pleased we’ve done the deal early and happy with the price (range) we’ve received!
So you think constantly dragging up peoples post for non stop ‘gotcha’ moments is just fine and normal? You’re ok with that, but not calling it out? Deeply odd.
