Agree with Sexybadger. After his shocking display against us in pre season, no thanks. He can not use his left foot, he has carp control and is not a team player. Very over rated, would rather Henderson than him.
hmm I dont think he is crap its just is he championship level can he up his game to championship level he does have some class about him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Yrl-QAokyA
Boothroyd said categorically a few weeks back we aren;t, and have never been interested in him didn't he?
Really don't want him. Has the wrong attitude and to be honest his pace is his only real attribute, all those goals on the video were tap ins.
An average Div 4 striker who Warnock didn't even rate above Kabba for £1.5m or a decent Scottish striker available for £1m? I know where I'd rather send the money
In fairness so were most of Gary Linikers and he wasn't that bad. If Trundle is worth a million then so is McCloud. Would his ego let him come and be 3rd or 4th choice, i doubt it.
I think that is partly the problem...not many strikers want to come and be a sub for us behind King and Priskin. Mind you Macleod would be banned every 4 games after being sent off and booked if his record last season is anything to go by!
I have seen him a few too many times (my uncles a dons fan:dismay:, so i go with him every now & then) and anyone who rates him hasn't seen much of him. He is honestly 1 of the worst strikers I have seen, hes greedy, only scores 1 out of about 15 shots (no joke) he constantly misses sitters, 1/2 the time he looks like he would rather be in bed & he thinks he is the worlds greatest player... the guy is **** Oh & by the way he may have scored 20 odd times last season but, if you look closer, he had the most shots in the league by a week. If he would set others up for a change they could/would have got alot more goals.
And gone!!! Izale McLeod is undergoing a medical at Charlton as he looks set to seal a move to The Valley, skysports.com can confirm. The Milton Keynes Dons striker has been given permission to talk to The Addicks after the two clubs agreed a fee. The former Derby man has been anxious to move back to at least Championship level after impressing hugely with the MK Dons in recent seasons. Now McLeod is in the capital as he talks terms with Charlton and looks set to seal a move to The Valley.
Definitely not sorry we did not get him. Will probably be suspended for most of the season with his temperament.
Thank god. Mcleod is nowhere near Championship material. Sure he was good in league two but on a top league two team. I think he'll prove a complete waste of space and be loaned out by christmas.
Never rated him, watched his movement etc last week and still wasn't impressed. Wasn't better than what we had, attitude and temper not great as well. After we missed out on Helguson and Earnshaw (who would have both added something different) i felt we might as well stick with what we had upfront
