Nyom wasn't that bad in fairness, even if the second half of that season was far worse than the first half!
I think his first full debut was against Spurs, maybe in a cup, but not sure. He was left alone in an advanced midfield position on his own and just got over-ran, along with the rest of the team that had a shocker.
I'm gonna double down and say this guy is gonna be a huge star for us. People will mock LR for writing him off. He's gonna be a 100m transfer to PSG. I'm sure of it.
Barring a short cameo early in the season against Chelsea (not long before he almost got shifted on loan back to France!), that Tottenham game was his first of the season. According to Transfermarkt he did play attacking mid, but I was sure that I remembered him out wide that day, at least at some point!

Also his pre-season vs Arsenal, plus the clips I'd watched of him from his time in France, plus his stats. Even if he might have potential, I don't think it's unfair to point out that he's clearly currently miles away.
I have plenty of capacity to do all those things - and the part of remembering many of the opinions posted is completely effortless. Ultimately it's not the most useful skill I'll readily admit, but it truly just occurs without me expending any conscious energy so I figure I might as well just roll with it.
This is sometimes the case, but not always - see how quickly Sierralta, Dennis, Kucka etc. appeared to get up to speed recently. Maybe Louza might start doing well after a full season, but that still wouldn't contradict part of the main thrust of my comments when he signed which were that he didn't and doesn't seem like what we need right now, especially for such a decent chunk of our transfer budget. Great, he might come good in a season, but that won't be much use if we've already got relegated, because we'd already spent the €8mil on him which we could have rather better used to, for example, already sign someone like Yokuslu who'd actually be ready to help keep us up this season.
