...and he said he's been playing behind closed doors for a couple of weeks, is fit, but pulled a hamstring and expects to be back in 2 weeks, and he is gagging for it! Straight from the horses mouth.
Great news, i think he ws meant to be back at xmas but had some complications with his long-term injury. As i said great news.
On the positive side he's done everything now so he's practically a new model. can't be anything else left to go.
Brilliant news, I'll start the countdown now! To the the next excuse that is.... I'm expecting something along the lines of... 'Clarke is recovering from a twisted knee sustained proposing to his girlfriend on valentines day! He's hoping to be back in time for the Boxing day fixture'
I can back this up had a chat with him before the game he was probably getting bored with the same questions by then. Really nice bloke.
his previous long term injury was something to do with his muscle where he tore it, and instead of new muscle growing, bone had started growing. sounds painfull.
My mate saw Clarke with Williamson and Hoskins the other day, and said the same thing, clarke cannot wait to get back on the pitch again.
Hurry back Clarke, we need all the help we can get. To get him back fully fit would be like signing a new player
this time last sesion we were sayin that he was possibly our best signing can be a great player on his day
Such stories is good news (probably too late) but nice to have some extra cover at the time. Shame it wasn't 6 weeks earlier!
