    What's everybody's plan?

We've hired a 12 seater minibus for the day which we intend to deck out in yellow for the trip up the M40 or possibly M1, not decided on the route yet. No idea on where the h3ll to park it though, but if you see us I'll be driving :]]. £118 for the days hire, great value.

Driving M11 A14 M6 so I guess won't see too many of our fans for the majority of my journey. Last time parked about a ten minute walk from Bournville station and then took a 15 or so minute train journey to Aston. Anyone got any better parking suggestions?

Hopefully with that now public knowledge traffic shouldn't be so bad :]]

As for myself i'm driving (not me personally) in a people carrier with my dad 3 of his mates and another lad. I believe we're planning to park at a train station a few stops away from Villa and get the train in from there which sounds like a good idea.

We were getting the train from Wycombe but the last train back was 9.15 meaning if somehow we got the game to penalties we'd be rushing to make that train.

  25. berkshirehorn

    berkshirehorn presumably I upset/disappointed someone

me and mini berkshire drive from reading up m40, easy drive, park in one of the car parks (takes about 2 hours to get out though), nice stroll to the ground.

i tip i recall from last time is not to try to pick up m6 by going north but drive all through middle of birmingham and out the south. the queues north huge (especially against united) and doesnt take long to drive through birmingham.

A colleague of mine is a Villa fan and he goes to many home games. He's back tomorrow so I shall be tapping him for local knowledge.

Nothing better than cruising in the Birdymobile with scarves flying from the window to a semi final and hooting all fellow 'orns.

If VP is on your right, walk 200 yds down the road one on the left another 30 yds in front on the right.

For the league game was in both, however for the last Semi the first one was more Watford and the second one more saints.
