Anyone else get the third degree from Adolf & co whilst bluffing their way into the hospital car park ? Got in eventually :)

Well you shouldn't have got in! I show my pass, that I have paid for, and then I have to go and search for a bloody space because it's full up with people who shouldn't be there!

And then they won't let you out at the end of the match.

I put my pay & display ticket in my window, WHICH I ALSO HAVE PAID FOR. You should get there earlier if you struggle for a space (you could even park your Lada Riva estate on the grass bank. Nobody would mind). There was plenty of spaces at 2.15pm. Get in the ground early, marvel at the quality of the pre match entertainment, and soak up the atmosphere of an empty ground until 2.55pm. You could even park up early and nip to the red lion for a long wait for a drink, and a game of twister as you jostle to get to the bar.

Come to think about it..... I'd just get there 5 minutes before kick off like the rest of us :)

Does anyone park at the Irish Club? I do it's a great place to park but you need to get there around 1 hour before kick off.

£125 !!!! for 19 games, plus a couple of cup games as well I guess. That works out at about £5.95 per game (21 games). It cost £3.50 for 5 hours pay and display yesterday. No wonder they don't want to let football fans in to pay and display, when they can stitch you up at nearly double the price, and get a seasons money in advance. They want everyone to get a pass.

All we did was get promoted and everyone is looking for ways to rip us off. I remember getting turned over in the 1999-2000 season when Stitches doubled its membership fee. I bet they won't have anyone stopping us parking there next season, when we're playing Colchester and Oldham.

Yup, that's why I want Adolf to do his job properly and stop the oiks getting in. When I first bought a pass it was about £60 then a couple of years ago the hospital raised the price hugely, so the club said, but by then we'd been sucked into the convenience of getting there at ten to three.

Adolf and his little tw**s will never stop me getting in. I have to come 125 miles each way for a home game. It's a pay and display car park for ****s sake. As long as I pay my money, display my ticket, andpark between the white lines, I can't see what they can do. I wonder if your car park pass will go down in price next year ?

I got to Watford (live in North London) about 50 minutes before kick off intending to park in the Laurence Haines School car park, I normally access it via the east end of Vicarage Road but this time the cops wouldn't let me through and I had to go right round the block, through part of the ring road and Rickmansworth Road, eventually getting to the car park via Hagden Lane. I got there after 2.20 and was lucky to get a parking space. Does this normally happen?

If there's was one silver lining to sought from going down it's that I won't have to arrive an hour early to be sure of finding somewhere to park near the ground!
