he's put a deposit down on one off the key workers flats at the vic - on the wages we pay him he can't afford any other type of housing.

    Dear oh dear.

Are you sure that's his house?

Maybe he was going to be leaving but now that Aidy has missed out on HH and DJ he will keep hold of him again?

    Insanity

The worrying thing apart from potentially breaking up a partnership which is a proven winner in the Championship, are the words `no onward chain`.

So he has either bought or rented another property, and is looking to move quickly.

The only other interpretation is that Aidy has given him a new contract and the salary H would have received so he can buy something better.

Parting with Hendo is the worst thing we can do right now. He provides something to our team (and especially our forward line) which _no other_ player in our squad can provide.

I don't care what people say about his performances last year. He gave it 110% every time and he gave us physical presence up front that was painfully missing when he _wasn't_ playing. Plus, he was a vital part of our promotion campaign and proved that time around that he can score lots of goals in the Championship.

I usually back Aidy in most of his decisions, but if he really lets Hendo wander off to another club for some petty sum of money I will be very, very disappointed.

    (sorry for the typos)

    Absolutely agree.
Hendo is a player who seems more like one of the guys in the Rookery, has heart and plays like I would hope to have done if I'd been lucky enough (or good enough) to turn out for Watford. I do not want to lose him.

Really? I'm surprised. Anyways - Hendo has been deemed surplus to requirements it seems. A pity in my mind but no way can anyone blame him for leaving if that's what it comes down to.

I have a suspicious feeling that he may come back to haunt us if he joins another CCC club.

Seriously - I was wondering if this was your own thought or if the club is actually doing a 180 on Hendo?

    No mate not my thoughts.

The club can attempt to do a 180, whether the player wants to turn round is another matter after the way he has been treated.

He hasn't played this week in any of the two games, he is not injured, he was told he could leave, he was told he didn't need to attend Germany.

But now the dead cert on arriving DJ has gone elsewhere and another target HH who was seen as an added bonus has also not arrived has left the club in a situation entirely of its own making.

The other string to this story was Kabba was expected to go out on loan, now I am only guessing this bit but I assume the player knows this also, but again in the current situation I can't see this happening unless strikers arrive.

So potentially we have made two big decisions on peoples future but now need to backtrack.

I can still see Kabba going out on loan - but with a recall option.

I wouldn't blame Hendo one bit if he told us to fark off. Not been treated very well it seems. But I hope he stays - he is a valuable type of player to have.

News of the screws say Hendo to PNE for 1.3 million today.

There is no way I would let him go unless we sign another tall big striker, though I am sure they are trying to train Priskin to take his place after the showing at Boring Wood

So why is it being advertised as up for sale if its already sold?

    No Kingy,

No `upper chain` doesn`t mean he has sold the property.

What it does mean is that he already has alternative accommodation (whether bought or rented), and that he will vacate as soon as a buyer can complete the purchase of his home.

Don't you think that even if he were staying at WFC he would be looking for somewhere better? It's not a very expensive house.

Is it me or do Watford FC seem to treat ALL of their employees incredibly badly?

    Not expensive?? Almost £700K ??

Do you live in a mansion in Loudwater or Moor Park ??

Heidar used to live a few doors away from me in a house still worth about half the price Doris is seeking.....Clint Easton and Peter Kennedy lived here too in ordinary homes first time we were in the Prem.

I've said all along to bloody keep Henderson as well as signing another striker. And it looks as if Aidy hasn't taken heed of either bits of advice
