Surely Aidy has got to see reason and give up with this useless lump!!..Theres so much more talent out there that Aidy could easily aquire but no he always opts for the DORIS.
Just hoping we will sign a proven goal scorer(dont care how old he is)to partner in my eyes a future starlet PRISKIN.

    My GRIPE is over.........:)

Welcome to the boards chrissyboy. Also your right Hendo is in the best part poor. However i would like to see him stay and be used as squad rotation player, as his style suits certain games. I think he could come in handy as a super sub.

Despite my previous and relentless criticism of Hendo I would be prepared to see how he will fit into this new playing style of ours before calling for his head.

    Indeed.

He still has the touch of a barrel of milk and the shooting ability of a dead rabbit, but he knocks stuff over and bundles in goals, which is a nice option to have.

That's a bit rude to a new poster!

You say what you want, chrissyboy and get it off your chest.

It seemed that this season Hendo knew where the bodies were buried as it didn't matter how ineffective he was he kept starting. I don't mind if he goes. If he stays I don't want him playing unless his form is good.

Keep Hendo for the bench as Aidy will want to throw somebody on in the final 10 mins if we are losing to get long balls into the area to (even thought actuaslly Darius has only scored 1 with his head in 2 years or so!)

As we saw at Hull he could be pretty useful in the area with his feet...the players probably just see Henderson has a big target man to boot the ball at...but does he even like this longball stuff?

Sorry mate, that goal at hull was the exception rather than the rule, Hendo normally can't hit a barn door from 5 paces!!!!

Bring in Alan Lee from Ipswich, same style of player, but a lot better!!!!

Whatever you think about Hendo he has to go if we are ever going to change our style of play. I actually think that he can play in a creative team - look at our promotion season - but Boothroyd will revert to the same old long ball if he is around.

VOR the stats don't support your argument - Hendo this last season in the league played 35(sub 6) and scored 13. Lee played 37(8) and scored 11. We actually need a striker better than both of these two.

Elvis will crash land into the Palace of Westminster in a flying saucer before we adopt a "new playing style." Why can't people see that this is just another method to string along the Watford ignorant? We will be shyte next season but the excuse will be "we needed a season to adjust to our new playing style."

As for Doris, ideally he should be on the bench most games as he does offer something as a sub. Unfortunately, as we saw at Hull, the temptation for Aidy to start with him regardless of common sense, is always too great, so he needs to go.

Because not everyone thinks that every move the club and manager makes is done solely to harm the fans?

jason scotland would be a great signing but would not sure if we would be able to persuade that easly as he has just got promoted with the swans

I know you have seen Southampton a few times this season, so proably know more than me, but 19 goals in a team that finished narrowly above the drop is an impressive scoring record.

I have to admit that the stats are quite similar, but he is still a better all round player IMHO!!! I very much doubt that Lee missed as many opportunities as Hendo, I would imagine he took most of the opportunities that he was provided with!!!

He gets about 4-5 really GOOD clear-cut chances a game! Southampton create plenty of chances, especially at home, and he's normally the culprit for missing most of them!

19 goals in a side that finished just above the drop, is as you say, a good return, BUT if he was half decent he would have scored 35 goals and seen Saints finish in the top six!

The Bristol City game I went to he missed three sitters (and they really were sitters), but scored a cracking goal (which was harder to score than the three he missed).

Basically he's very inconsistent, and he's not rated by Saints fans really!

We struggle to create 5 good chances over two games, let alone in one!!

    They're both CONFIDENCE players IMO.

Both had purple patches in the first couple of months of the season, and then both went into their shells again!

As Berko says, we need someone more consistent.
