Not to throw a spanner in the works but Cisse has just agreed a permanent move to Marseille...so hoping that won't mean West Ham make more of a play for H

I doubt Hammers will be in for H. They have money coming out their @rse at the moment, so will be looking for more of a "name."

There is no way Heidar will be going to West Ham.

The football club have requested an extra place on the tour of germany for Helguson. He is coming back depending on contract agreements. My source is private, you can take it or leave it I don't care.

    Helguson is coming back.

I seriously hope that we are not paying 700k more for a player that has aged 2 years since we sold him!
That apart HH and Marlon what a scary, scary:eek: partnership for our opponents!:]]

I too hope it is true.

But, I do have a nagging sense of deja vu. I remember how we all salivated at the idea of a Webber/HH partnership. But, somehow, despite their combined talents they never really gelled as a partnership.

Signing Helguson and another winger would put us right up there with the best attacking forces in the Championship.

Hairy ... the whole market for football players has changed dramatically since HH left, Ash's price being a good example.

The prize at the end of a successful CCC campaign is so immense that a reliable striker is priceless. HH has developed as a player and still has 3/4 years left in him, look how long Sherringham has lasted.

I would have no hesitation in spending £2mil (of someone else's money of course) bringing HH back to the Vic.

    iam too slightly nervous
    1) they might not work together, but i think they will as HH is like hendo-big pysical etc but better as he can shoot, control the ball

2)too much expectations for him to come back and be our surviour like he was last time

mind u if we get him and the partnership works and people dont get on the backs of HH if he doesnt score in like the first 2 months

this could be a good move

We won't be paying anything for HH if Fulham offer higher money for Bouazza. Will be interesting to see. I hope if Bouazza does go we get at least 1.5-2 million and HH but I reckon it will be more like a million and HH.

Lets just hope they don't try to put Collins John in any deal either!

I also really hope this H talk is true, I think the `acid test` is whether Championship defenders could cope with King and H, and I don`t think many could.

Webber was a very different type of player to King, and I think it would be more like having a `supercharged Hendo` (human battering ram), which would also leave gaps for others to exploit.

This would be awesome - I am confident they would be a dynamic partnership - the difference between promotion this season or not.

Helguson and King would be a lethal patnership! Helguson as we all know is in a similiar mould to Henderson, but ten times better!

would hate to be a defender up against them! Also, even if we decide to play hoof ball we have somebody who the aerial ability along with the first touch to hold it up.

I still think you could play Hendo AND HH as a target pair, with King floating all over or coming from deep onto knockdowns.
Or HH as an attacking midfielder behind Marlon and Big Doris.
Either way, the Coca Cola defences would wet themselves fearing who to mark first. All three would be viable targets for Tommy and Jobi.
And Hameur could interchange with any of the above...

Think we can safely say that we all seem to want HH back. For those of you who think he is not worth £2million, look at the fees being paid for unprovens like Eastwood and Sharp. He is definitely worth 4 Kabba's to me.

This'll run and run until Fulham finally sign a striker or two. They seem to be struggling to do so.

Now West Ham have paid 8 million for Bellamy, presumably they are no longer in contention for HH?

Not sure about that....I guess they see Bellamy as a Tevez replacement as they have a similar style. The thing that slightly concerns me is the fact that they were going for Bellamy AND Cisse, meaning having missed out on Cisse, H may now emerge as an alternative "target-man" target for West Ham...

West Ham have an endless pot of gold.

The only problem is nobody likes them.

I have doubts H will come back to Championship, but if I'm neutral for a second, we do seem to have one of the very strongest teams in the CCC at the moment. And if he would only be a squad player in Spam, then it may not be as clear cut as you may think, especially if we can match his wages.

With the latest revelations on the Tevez / Manure transfer, I am still not sure the Spammers won't be a Championship team next season as well.

Also, even if it does go through, it is unlikely to be in the next 3 minutes.
