You really like Bocanegra? Each time I see him play, he gives me absolutely no confidence the goal is secure. I say that saluting his USA kit, but I just don't like his play. Fulham gets better in back when he doesn't play. Keller would be a great pickup for WFC, but I think he's going back to the US to play for the new Seattle team.

 

i think we sould sign litmanen. i've had to give up the dream of seeing a baggio-bergkamp frontline so at least lets sign one aging european technocrat

Have to agree with our resident yank on Bocenegra - I think he is over rated and looks very fragile when I have seen him play.

Agree, quite good going forward but a bit shakey when defending.

 

Not really getting rid of any players i'd be interested in signing to be honest - most of the ones i've heard of are too old/injury prone.

I think Bocanegra is the only decent player and on a free he could be a very useful player - if shittu and Demerit both leave even if we sign Davenport we'll still need another experienced cb. Shame we didn't get Hudson from Palace - been impressed with him

Seems Volz isn't being released now...he'd have been a good signing.

What's Runstrom like?

 

Did he not join Luton on loan the season before last? Seem to remember him getting a few for them? I am sure he was once highly rated as a younster and ended up in Germany or something on laon last year.

 

Bocanegra has stated he intends to be playing in the prem next season.

As for Runstrom, i believe either during or after his loan spell he just laid in the club in a hilarious rant. I'm fairly sure it was mentioned on here.

EDIT: Here we are, he said this during his loan spell in March 07. It's truely superb....

Agreed, surprised to see he's still only 29 - but I don't think he's played at all this season due to injury...would probably be another Patrick Blondeau - quality player but always injured
