Watford & Leeds are interested in signing Chievo's on-loan Inter Milan goalkeeper Francesco Bardi. #watfordfc #lufc

Would be great if it happened, can't see it happening nor the point of it (unless it's to loan Bond out, but then we lose a homegrown spot)

We've clearly taken a good look at all our Carlos Kickaballs during our indifferent form and decided all the British players have to go.

Maybe we are worried about Gomes injury proneness and Bonds ability to fill in for him

Also Gomes has only 5 months left on his contract so he might be rhe replacement.

Doubtful, Bardi is rated as one of the greatest up and coming keepers on the planet at the moment, we wouldn't be able to afford him.

Oh don't get me wrong, i'd love to see him here, but I can't imagine Gomes would be happy moving to the bench (as Bardi is better than him imo), and I doubt we'd swap a home-grown bench spot for Bond to sit Bardi on there instead.

Inter has been loaning Bardi in last years to have him gain experience to become in future their GK after Handanovic.
They're obviously not happy that the new manager at Chievo has chosen to keep Bardi on the bench, so it is true that they probably will try to end the loan to send the player elsewhere.
But that would be CERTAINLY a loan, and I think WFC has already filled its quota of loans.

The Pozzo's are certainly not going to spend a lot of millions for another GK with the current abundance at Udinese.
Scuffet already labeled as "the next Buffon" last season. He has become #2 because Karnezis is even better.
Brkic, a very good GK unlucky with injuries has so become #3 when at beginning of last season he was indisputed #1 and now went on loan to Zola's Cagliari to play (he became immediately their #1).
Meret, the Primavera team GK, 1 year younger than Scuffet, is said to be even more talented than him.
Kelava was #2 last season, a decent GK, now Udinese is searching a loan place for him.
Next season Brkic or maybe even Scuffet (if Udinese bets more on Meret for the future) might be available for WFC. No reason to buy another GK, and one quite expensive too. Nor Inter is going to sell Bardi.
    IMHO of course.

Scuffet looks like a really good prospect. Wouldn't mind seeing him here!

He certainly seems a quality keeper, I doubt a talent like that would make it out of italy..

maybe if he doesn't continue to develop as we you'd expect.

or if Karnezis continues to keep him out the team, Udinese might either send him or Scuffet over to us. Decent possibility of either happening imo.

I guess it depends on how much Pappy Pozzo thinks he's worth.

If they think he'll be worth a fortune (and the limited evidence probably points that way right now) then they'll clearly want to keep him inside the Trinity until he blossoms. I suppose chain loans to Italian clubs is also an option.

On the other hand, if he's that good they might as well keep him somewhere they can easily monitor while helping out one of their own clubs.
